We had a blast at Disney World. Here are a few pics from out trip. The kids had a great time and we have memories that will last a lifetime. The parks were beautifully decortated for the holidays.
Brighton and Hayden had their hair cut, colored and sprinkled at the MK Barber Shop. We had all 7 grandkids together, with a total of 18 people. The weather was a little on the chilly side, but perfect for all of the walking we did everyday.

Hayden Turns 5!!

Here are a few pics from Hayden's Birthday. We celebrated his, Robert's and Grandma Mary's at Johnny Carino's. He picked out this Halloween cake at the bakery. He is getting so grown up. He is such a lovable boy. His sweet face matches his personality most days.

Hayden had a pizza party at school. Ms. Lori is an awesome teacher!!

Halloween Night Treats!!

The boys had a sugary night on Friday. Robert and Grandpa Gail took the boys around the block, while Grandma Mary, Great Grandma Dottie and I stayed home and braved the goblins trick or treating.

The neat thing about the boy's costumes is that they were both made by Grandma Mary (Robert's Mom). And Hayden's costume was worn by Robert 30 years ago when he was 5!! Amazing!!

Montana or Bust!!

Were did the summer go? We had a fantastic time on our vacation to Polson, MT. It was the perfect gettaway from the TX heat! We spent our 8 days there feeding horses, exploring the property, hanging with the neighbors and eating, eating, eating....

We saw wild turkeys almost every day, we collected turkey feathers and pine cones for Grandpa Chris, and ate apples right off the neighbors trees!!

We went to the local museum, and saw Grandpa Chris's graduation pics. Hayden loved the music being played there as you can see.

Oh I almost for got about the boots. We went to get Brighton some boots because we always see him wearing big brothers boots. So we went to the western store and started trying on boots....after much frustration between Brighton and Mom and Dad, he insisted that the only boots he was going to wear were Big Brothers Boots. So Hayden lucked out and got a pair of brand spankin new boots for himself and the world was right!!

We had a couple of boat rides in Lost Lake behind the house and Flathead Lake on the neighbors boat.

We took a day to go to Big Fork, MT to look at shops and go to Eva Gates huckleberry store. Which is where this picture is taken from. My little boy is getting BIG.

Summer Fun

We spent Memorial Day weekend at the beach. We stayed at Goose Island State Park and then visited Port A beach and the Corpus Christi Aquarium. We all had a great time and look forward to our next trip!

Brighton loves to sing all the time. He is our next American Idol!

Spring in Here!!

Hayden is finally picking out his own clothes and dressing himself. He came in wearing this concoction the other morning. I all about self expression but this is really out there. He is enjoying gymnastics on Thursdays and riding his bike.

Brighton is talking more than ever and learning his shapes and colors. He loves his teachers and friends at school.

I am enjoying piano lessons and continue to run for fun and exercise. Rob and I finished ran in the Texas Independence Relay the first part of March. What a fun event.! Our 11 man team covered 203 miles in 31 hours. Robert ran a total of 20 miles and I ran 13 miles. We are looking forward to next years race!!

Happy New Year!!

We survived the holidays and almost made it through January. Time flies when you are having fun! We had a quiet Christmas at home with the boys, and celebrated the New Year at my parents in Kaufman, TX (their new place of residence since this past summer).

We have started off the year with Kindergym lessons for Hayden every Thursday. He loves this class. Apart from using up all of the pent up energy he gets to learn different things on the trampoline, balance beam, rings, bar and tucks and rolls on the floor. Very fun for us to watch.

Brighton continues to impress us with his independence and new sentences. He is also giving potty training a try. He has gone once in the potty at home and was so proud of himself. His teachers say he just loves sitting on the potty!

Robert and I are busy training for a 12 man relay run. It will be held the end of February. We will be responsible for running 3-4 legs from Gonzales to Houston. It will be quite challenging for both of us.

I have also been enjoying piano lessons once a week on my lunch break. And I LOVE it!! We were given a piano years ago from Robert's parents. It needed a lot of tuning but is a great piano and I am learning so much already.

We can't wait to start camping again. We have Guadalupe S.P booked in February!

We are heading to the SA Zoo this weekend and will have new pics posted after that.
